In capital city St. John’s, step back in time and explore the 18th Century ruins and grounds of Fort James, before relishing in the views over St. John’s Harbour. Antigua’s sister island Barbuda beckons with its pink-tinged sands, thriving ecosystems of wildlife and undeveloped expanses; you’re more likely to encounter wildfowl than fellow explorers or residents. A year round destination, the best months to visit Antigua are generally during the drier winter months of December to April with temperatures averaging 24°C.
